The paper is focused on a typological aspect of the Moravian Early Bronze Age chipped stone industry. Examination of assemblages related to the Unetice culture and the Věteřov group has revealed the presence of multi-function tools of the new type, referred by the authors as „segments”. In Moravian its genetic roots can be traced back to the Bell Beaker culture.

Studie je věnována kamenné štípané industrii starší doby bronzové na Moravě (únětická kultura, věteřovská skupina). Na základě nálezového fondu byl vyčleněn zcela nový polyfunkční nástroj, pro který byl zvolen název - segment. Jeho genetické kořeny na Moravě jsou spojeny s kulturou zvoncovitých pohárů.
