Byla zpracována metodika monitoringu poškození lesních porostů. Pro optimalizaci managementu populací velkých herbivorů byl pro všechny druhy žijící v ČR navržen ekvivalent významnosti, index potenciální kompetice a koefient kvality prostředí.

Under the present economic conditions the essential modification in ungulates management system is necessary. In the presented metodology, principles of game number regulation are based on the estimating its impact on forest vegetation. The basic principles issue from priority of ecological and economical point of view in forest management and independence of the game management interest. The main method for determining the game density regulation is comparison of the actual state of vegetation with its state established by economic and ecological management.
