In mice receiving combined therapy of praziquentel and adamantylamide dipeptide, the antischistosomal efficacy was enhanced as compared to the monotherapy with praziquantel. These findings stimulate further studies on the use of cocktail of drugs as long as there are no alternatives to the presently and solely available antischistosomal praziquentel.

Antiparazitární účinek praziquantelu u myší infikovaných Schistosoma mansoni se zvyšuje při současném podání adamantylamid dipeptidu. Výsledky naznačují nové terapeutické přístupy zvláště při léčbě onemocnění v případě lékové rezistence na praziquantel.
