Překlad dvou textů Ludwiga Wittgensteina, založených na jeho univerzitních kursech z let 1933-1934. Jedná se o jediné obsáhlejší texty, z nichž se mohla veřejnost seznamovat s jeho vývojem po napsání první knihy, poněvadž oba texty byly volně v oběhu v samizdatovém vydání. Wittgenstein zde poprvé formuluje témata své pozdní filosofie, kriticky zkoumá možnosti teorie významu, povahu pravidel, pracuje s koncepcí jazykových her apod. Oba texty se vymykají zbytku jeho díla také svou formou: nemají formu krátkých poznámek, nýbrž jedná se o čtenářsky přístupnější souvislý výklad. Překlad z angličtiny je doplněn o poznámky vyznačující výraznější odchylky německého textu.

A translation of two extensive texts by Ludwig Wittgenstien, based on his Cambridge courses in 1933-34. Both books were the only source for Wittgenstein contemporaries eager to learn more about authors post-Tractatus work. For the first time Wittgenstein comes here with his critical inquiry on theory of meaning, rule-following, he works here with the concept of language games etc. Both text are unique in their form too: they are not series of short remarks, but a more accessible exposition.
