Basic anatomical structure of roots of three terrestrial carnivorous plants, Dionaea muscipula, Drosera adelae, and Sarracenia rubra, is presented in the paper. The anatomical structure of the roots is related rather to their adaptation to soil anoxia and waterlogging than carnivory itself.

Je uvedena základní anatomická stavba kořenů tří druhů terestrických masožravých rostlin, Dionaea muscipula, Drosera adelae a Sarracenia rubra. Anatomická stavba kořenů souvisí spíše s jejich adaptací k půdní anoxii a zamokření než k samotné masožravosti.
