Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino Experiment (KATRIN) will search for the neutrino mass with 0.2 eV sensitivity by precise measurement of the upper part of the tritium beta spectrum. The experiment will utilize the windowless gaseous tritium source and the electrostatic integrating spectrometer with adiabatic magnetic collimation.
Experiment KATRIN (tritiový neutrinový experiment v Karlsruhe) bude hledat hmotnost neutrina s citlivostí 0.2 eV přesným měřením horní části spektra beta tritia. Využije bezokénkový zdroj plynného tritia a elektrostatický integrální spektrometr s adiabatickou magnetickou kolimací.
