Modern mathematical methods of EEG analysis based on nonlinear dynamics are described and compared with traditional linear methods. Some aspects of practical applications in analyses of sleep EEG and EEG recordings of epilepsy patients are discussed.
Uvádíme stručný popis moderních matematických metod analýzy EEG, založených na teorii nelineárních dynamických systémů. Tyto metody srovnáváme s tradičními, lineárními přístupy a diskutujeme některé problémy jejich aplikací v analýze spánkových EEG záznamů a EEG záznamů pacientů trpících epilepsií.
