The formation of the complex between irradiated DNA with nonirradiated protein and between irradiated protein with fresh DNA fragment have been determined and compared to the destruction of the complex by irradiation using retardation polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. DNA fragmentation and distribution of strand breaks along DNA HRE base sequence have been determined on the denaturation sequencing polyacrylamide gel.
