Preparation and characterization of Gallium Nitride (GaN) layers doped with Rare Earth (RE) ions is reported. GaN films were deposited by magnetron sputtering in Ar+N2 gas mixture using Ga2O3 target as the source of Ga. Er2O3, Yb2O3, Pr2O3 and Nd2O3 pellets or Er and Yb powders laid on the top of the Ga2O3 target were used for RE doping. Prepared layers have been characterized by photoluminescence and transmission spectroscopy.
Připravené vrstvy byly charakterizovány pomocí fotoluminiscenční a transmisní spektroskopie.
