    Thorns of Gleditsia sinensis were extracted and following compounds were identified: D:C-friedours-7-en-3-one, stigmast-4-en-3,6-dione, stigmasta-3,6-dione, stigmasterol a beta-sitosterol. Their biological activity was studied, stigmasterol proved to be the most active antimutagen of the lot. NMR Data of some steroid derivatives were revised.

    Z trnů Gleditsia sinensis byl isolován D:C-friedours-7-en-3-on, stigmast-4-en-3,6-dion, stigmasta-3,6-dion, stigmasterol a beta-sitosterol. Jejich biologická aktivita byla studována, stigmasterol se ukázal jako nejaktivnější antimutagen. Údaje o NMR datech některých isolovaných látek byly revidovány.
