A new method for calculating of UHMWPE wear particles was proposed and verified for the determination of particles isolated from THR revision surgery. The results obtained with this method suggest that the distribution of wear particles is quite non-uniform.

Byla navržena, vyzkoušena a otestována nová metoda pro určování počtů otěrových částic UHMWPE, isolovaných při revizních operacích totálních endoprotéz kyčelních kloubů. Výsledky dosažené pomocí této metody naznačují, že distribuce otěrových částic v okolí kloubních náhrad je dosti nerovnoměrná.
