The paper presents the results of experiment with the passive pressure and the pressure at rest of the ideally non-cohesive sand on a retaining wall rotated about the top.The paper deals in detail with the results and methods of surface monitoring.

Příspěvek uvádí výsledky fyzikálního experimentu E3/0+2 s klidovým i mezním pasivním tlakem ideálně sypkého písku na pažící stěnu otáčející se kolem vrcholu. Experiment měl dva základní cíle: sledování závislosti tlaku na pohybu stěny (otáčení kolem vrcholu) a visuální sledování posunů a přetvoření zrnitého tělesa uvnitř i na povrchu. Příspěvek se podrobně zabývá metodami a výsledky sledování povrchu tělesa.
