The main goal of the present field trip is to show individual parts of the Bohemian Massif (the Saxo-Thuringian, Teplá-Barrandian, and Brunovistulian units) where Cadomian imprints are strikingly different. These units are peri-Gondwanan terranes (Armorican Terrane assemblage. During the field trip Cadomian deformation, metamorphism and igneous activity is at different structural levels, the metamorphic grade of which ranges from very-low to high grade.

Hlavním cílem této exkurze je ukázat jednotlivé části Českého masivu (jednotky saxothuringická, tepelsko-barrandienská a brunovistulická), u kterých se výrazně liší charakter kadomských segmentů. Všechny tyto jednotky představují peri-gondwanské terány (tzv. armorická teránová skladba). Během exkurze jsou studovány kadomská deformace, metamorfismus a magmatická aktivita v různých strukturních úrovních a v různých podmínkách metamorfózy pohybujících se od velmi nízkého až po vysoký stupeň.
