The new combination of the bubble bed and the packed bed in series is introduced in this contribution. The pressure drop profiles measurements and evaluating of gas holdup in the bubble bed was used to characterize hydrodynamic behaviour of such combined system. The effect of the combined type of packing on gas holdup in the bubble bed was tested during the measurements. The modified correlations was used for description of gas holdup in the bubble bed.

Nová kombinace probublávané vrstvy kapaliny v sérii s náplňovou kolonou byla studována. Tlakové ztráty a zádrž plynu v probublávané vrstvě byly využity pro charakterizaci tohoto kombinovaného systému. Byl studován rovněž vliv kombinovaných vrstvách náplně na chování probublávané vrstvy. Modifikované korelace byly odvozeny pro popis zádrže plynu v probublávané vrstvě.
