    In this work we simulate 2D bubble rise in cartesian coordinates using commercial CFD code Fluent.We evaluate bubble shape, rise velocity and bubble trajectory. We study the dependency of bubble rise characteristic on bubble size, viscosity of the liquid phase and numerical conditions (grid, time step size).

    V této práci simulujeme stoupání 2D bubliny v kartézkých souřadnicích pomocí komerčního CFD kódu Fluent. Vyhodnocujeme tvar bubliny, vzestupnou rychlost a její trajektorii a závislost těchto charakteristik na velikosti bubliny, viskozitě kapalné fáze a numerických parametrech (mřížka, časový krok).
