    The present paper deals with input analysis methods (mainly those based on linear and nonlinear approaches), summarizes basic characteristics of different types of time series analysis and briefly some of problems in their practical applications. It shows that, although the new approaches of non-linear analysis are certainly very attractive, one has to be very careful when interpreting the obtained results.

    Práce se zabývá lineární analýzou stability jednorozměrného řetězce bublin na třech různých délkových škálách. Bylo zjištěno, že stabilita je různá na různých škálách.
