Článek identifikuje pražského malíře Jana Václava Spitzera jako autora ideálních portrétů františkánských světců (oleje na plátně) z muzea ve Slaném (původně v refektáři zdejšího františkánského kláštera). Tuto atribuci potvrzují existující návrhové kresby ze Strahovské knihovny i umělcův monogram, nalezený na jednom z obrazů.

The article identifies the Prague baroque painter Jan Václav Spitzer as the author of the ideal portraits of Franciscan holly patrons (oils on canvas) from the Museum in Slaný (earlier decorating the refectory of the Franciscan monastery). Such attribution was confirmed by the existing preparatory drawings from the Strahov Library and also by the discovered artist´s monogram at one of the paintings.
