Decomposition rates of the litter of three main dominants growing in sedimentation basins, Betula pendula, Populus tremula and Calamagrostis epigejos (and cellulose as the material of reference) were followed. The litter was incubated in the lab on the surface of the three main substrates (and sterile sand as a reference substrate. On the sterile sand, ash and ore substrates, the litter decomposition rates were as follows: Populus>Betula/Calamagrostis>cellulose, while on the arable soil used for reclamation: cellulose>Populus>Betula>Calamagrostis.
Byla zjišťována rychlost dekompozice opadu ze tří dominant odkališť (Betula pendula, Populus tremula a Calamagrostis epigejos) na povrchu tří substrátů těchto odkališť. Na sterilním písku (kontrolní substrát), popílku a rudném substrátu se rychlost dekompozice snižovala v pořadí: Populus>Betula/Calamagrostis>celuloza (kontrolní materiál), na půdě z úhoru v pořadí celuloza>Populus>Betula>Calamagrostis
