A survey of spider species described by Czech authors is given. Czech arachologists participated in creating 261 names for spiders at species and subspecies level. In total 185 of these names are valid at present. The material of 111 taxa is available in the National Museum Prague or in other museums or private collections. The type material of 12 spiders described by foreign arachnologists is deposited in the National Museum Praha and/or in private collections.

Je podán přehled druhů pavouků popsaných českými autory. Čeští arachnologové participovali na vytvoření 261 jmen na druhové a poddruhové úrovni. Celkem 185 těchto jmen je v současnosti platných. Typový materiál 111 taxonů je dostupný ve sbírkách Národního muzea či v soukromých sbírkách. Typový materiál dalších 12 druhů popsaných zahraničními arachnology je uložen v Národním muzeu v Praze či v soukromých sbírkách.
