We report on the isolation of the cDNA sequence encoding the human neuronal kinesin heavy chain (nKHC) and on the construction of expression vectors to produce the full-length nKHC and its domains in Escherichia coli. We show that antibodies KN-01, KN-02, and IBII recognize epitopes located in the stalk domain of nKHC and represent thus usefull probes for this domain

V práci referujeme o izolaci ci cDNA, která kóduje těžký řetězec lidského neuronálního kinesinu (nKHC), o konstrukci expresních vektorů a produkci různých variant kinesinu. Ukázali jsme, že protilátky KN-01, KN-02 a IBII rozeznávají epitopy umístěné na „stalk“ doméně nKHC a že jsou užitečným nástrojem studia funkce této domény
