Intensities of non-family (polytype) reflections of polytypes are influenced by the presence of out of step domains in the structure so that they are weaker than the family reflections.Consquences of these so called OD parallel intergrowths are derived for the structure of 1T polytype of the layer silicate cronstedtite

Intenzity nefamiliových (polytypových)reflexí jsou ovlivněny přítomností posunutých domén ve struktuře v důsledku čehož jsou slabší nežli familiové reflxe. Důsledky těchto tak zvaných OD-paralelních srůstů jsou odvozeny pro strukturu polytypu 1T vrstevnatého silikátu cronstedtitu
