22nd Colloquiumfest

Prague, 6 - 9 December 2019

The 22nd Colloquiumfest is devoted to interactions between algebra, model theory, and related topics. It will take place in the Institute of Mathematics, Czech Academy of Sciences, Žitná 25, Prague, Czech Republic.

The Colloquiumfests have been (approximately) annual meetings first organized at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada in March 2000 on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Murray Marshall (see https://math.usask.ca/fvk/CFS.HTM). Most of the Colloquiumfests have been small scale low budget meetings. They were organized by varying organizers at venues around the world, such as the Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris, the CUNY Graduate Center in New York, Bogazici University in Istanbul, the Universities of Valladolid, of Heidelberg, and of Hawaii. Since 2010 the Colloquiumfest has joined forces with the biannual Czech, Polish and Slovak Conference Series on Number Theory, which created the ALaNT series. The meetings focus on topics in valuation theory, real algebra, field arithmetic, algebraic geometry and model theory.
