The study was carried out in order to detect the potential impact of biotope on the appearance of moths. Based on digitized photographs taken under UV light conditions and phylogeny-controlled redundancy analysis, the authors present noticeable relationship between species preferring hygrophilous habitats and higher UV wing reflectance. The authors attribute this to predator avoidance under habitat-specific light conditions. Pracoviště Biologické centrum (od r. 2006) Kontakt Dana Hypšová, eje@eje.cz, Tel.: 387 775 214 Rok sběru 2017
