Jahrhundert, und zwar seine deutliche kognitive Verbindung mit dem Raum. Am Modellbeispiel von J. A. Comenius zeigt sie, auf welche Weise diese stark räumliche Verankerung des Biographischen sich in die regionale Erinnerungspraxis projiziert hat, und wie sie zur Etablierung einigen imaginativen Regionen beitrug, deren Existenz sich nur darauf stützte, dass sie mit seinem Leben zusammenhingen. In diesem Sinne lassen sich diese imaginäre Einheiten - „Comenius´ Regionen“ - als ein reines Produkt von kulturmnemonischen Prozessen interpretieren, wie sie sich im Laufe des 19. Jahrhunderts profiliert haben. Překlad anotace The study deals with one of the conspicuous aspects of the 19th-century-biographical narrative, namely its noticeable link to the space. By an example of J. A. Comenius the study shows how this strongly spatial anchoring of the biography was projected into the regional memory and helped to establish several imaginary regions which were based exclusively on the connection with Comenius’ life and work. Therefore it is possible to perceive these “Comenius´” regions as a result of the processes of the cultural commemoration and of the way they were shaped during the 19th century.
