Anotace	This article reviews the measurement of perceptions of quality of working life in the Czech Republic over the last two decades. It summarizes the basic results of key surveys and elaborates some of methodological aspects of measurement. In this regard it introduces the original complex instrument for measurement of subjective quality of working life (SQWL), which has been developed in recent years by the author in a series of surveys.
