In this study, we focus on the kinetics of expression of EMT markers and both transcription factors and miRNAs regulating the EMT process in the BPH-1 cell line and in tumorigenic clones derived from this cell line. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first detailed description of EMT regulation in a non-transformed, immortalized epithelial cell line of prostate origin.
