Mělník. Bylo zde dokumentováno pravěké osídlení časově spadající od období počátku eneolitu po dobu stěhování národů. Diskuse umístění pohřebních a sídelních areálů ukazuje, že pro umístění pohřebišť byl určující především pohledový horizont ve vztahu k sídelnímu areálu. Poloha pohřebišť též může indikovat charakter krajiny. Překlad anotace A large, multi-hectare section of the landscape near the village of Vlíněves, Mělník district, has been systematically monitored and excavated in connection with sand mining over the course of recent decades. Prehistoric settlement between the beginning of the Eneolithic period and the Migration period has been documented at the site. A discussion of the placement of burial and settlement areas indicates that there was a preference for burials at elevated locations; in the flat landscape these locations did not exceed an elevation of 1-2 metres. Therefore, the decisive factor in the placement of the burial grounds was primarily the visual horizon in relation to the settlement area. The location of the burial grounds likewise indicates that the landscape was open and without stands of bushes and trees.
