The TH status led to a significant increase and HY status to a significant decrease of enzyme activity and protein amount in both male and female animals. These changes were, however, more pronounced in females. Measurements of serum thyroid hormone levels and analysis of anatomical parameters confirmed that our procedures inducting the TH and HY states are efficient and reliable and that determination of GPDH can serve as an additional criterion for the evaluation of the thyroid hormone status Pracoviště Fyziologický ústav Kontakt Lucie Trajhanová, lucie.trajhanova@fgu.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 400 Rok sběru 2012
