Anotace
The modern high-powered techniques for a measurement of the fluid velocity like Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA–technique) and Particle Image Velocity (PIV–technique) require a bulky and (or) expensive equipment, a complex software and (or) many long hours for data processing. It is the cost for the high quality and abundant of the results. However, in many cases, for example for a study of sediment transport in channel, high accuracy isn’t required. Therefore, it is seem that rough simple and quick methods can be developed for the evaluation of the fluid velocity distribution in the channel for these cases. Two simple and quick methods are developed in the present work.
