Recrystallized dusty Ti-magnetite from decomposed olivine and symplected magnetite-diopside occur rarely. Magnetomineralogic methods can detect the TiO2 content in titanomagnetite series using variations in Currie temperature, field-dependent susceptibility, and variations in the IRM spectra. Understanding of the factors that determine magnetization intensities within the target area is essential for reliable interpretation of magnetic anomalies and subsurface geology.
