In the computational model are the radial AMBs and impacts incorporated by means of nonlinear force coupling. The discs and the stationary part are considered to be absolutely rigid except a small neighbourhood of the contact point. To the direct determination contact stiffness of the normal component of impact force a Hertz theory is applied. The numerical simulations of rotor supported by radial AMBs showed that both of the nonlinear vibration sources (radial AMBs and impacts) could be investigated together and that the impacts have considerable influence on vibration styles.
