Anotace	Die Studie stellt ein Überblick des aktuellen Forschungsstandes über den römischen Militäreingriff auf dem Gebiet des Barbaricums nördlich der mittleren Donau während der Markomannenkriege dar. Behandelt die einzelnen Formen der archäologischen Spuren, die die Militärstrategie der Römer beweisen, wobei die größte Interesse wurde der Problematik der sog. kurzfristigen Lager und der Charakteristik der zentralen römischen Militärbasis am Burgstall bei Mušov gewidmet. Die neue Interpretation der bislang entdeckten Objekte und Fundgruppen bezeugt, dass sich im Mušov die bedeutendste römische Anlage aus der Zeit der Markomannenkriege im Barbaricum befand. Hier befand sich das Hauptquartier der römischen Heeresleitung, daneben wurde die logistische Unterstützung der Operation auf dem Gebiet der Markomannen von hier aus geleistet und vielleicht auch die Unterbringung der außerordentlichen Persönlichkeiten der römischen Politik.
Překlad anotace	The outline is summary of up-to-date state of recognition of the roman military intervention to the barbarian lands north of the Middle Danube during the Marcomanic wars. It deals with archaeological evidences that indicate ways of strategic thinking of Rome and special attention is dedicated to questions about temporary roman military camps as well as the central roman military base located at Mušov-Burgstall. Once again it interprets already excavated objects of greater significance and sets of artifacts that support the theory that Mušov was location of the most important roman military establishment within barbarian lands during the Marcomanic wars. There was situated the supreme command of the roman army, the center of logistic support for units operating in the area as well as the accommodation for highly important persons of roman policy. In this sense it’s possible to get a view of organizational center core of occupation infrastructure.
