Sie zielt ihre Aufmerksamkeit auf die in den Interviews beinhalteten Geschichten, die mit dem sog. öffentlichen und politischen Engagement während der 1970er und 1980er Jahre in der sozialistischen Tschechoslowakei verknüpft sind. Sie beschreibt, wie die Gesprächspartnerinnen heutzutage diese Tätigkeit interpretieren, welche Rolle sie in Gestaltung ihrer Erinnerungen spielt, welche mit ihr verknüpfte Motivationen in den Lebensgeschichten auftauchen. Die Studie konzentriert sich auch auf gemeinsame und unterschiedliche Interpretationen der Gesprächspartnerinnen und versucht sie in einen breiteren biographischen und gesellschaftlichen Kontext zu setzen. Překlad anotace The study is based on analysis of two biographical interviews with two female narrators from Brno. It pays its attention to stories connected with the so called public and political engagement in socialist Czechoslovakia in the 1970s and 1980s. It describes how the narrators evaluate their activities from nowadays point of view, which role these activities play by creating their memories and which motivations connected with these activities appear in the narratives. The study concentrates also on identical and different interpretations of the narrators and it tries to place them into a large biographical and social context.
