Les maîtres et les tailleurs de son chantier furent employés après sa mort (1352) et l’arrivée de Peter Parler (1356) par des commanditaires éminents appartenant à l’entourage de Charles IV pour réaliser des fondations prestigieuses. Le style de maître Mathieu, ancré dans le „linéarisme“ tardif du style rayonnant, permit à ce dernier de survivre jusqu’à l’entrée du „beau style“ dans l’architecture, auquel il apporta encore, selon des variations différentes et une échelle modifiée, de nouveaux moyens d’expression. Překlad anotace This article is concerned to the possible participation of Mathias of Arras and his chantier on other project and buildings out of the St Vitus’s cathedral of Prague. After the death of Mathias, the stonemasons of his chantier were employed by eminent sponsors belonging to the entourage of Charles IV and also the new parish churches laid claim to the heritage of the cathedral’s chantier. The late rayonnant style of Mathias of Arras allowed in this way to survive some of his traces in the Beautiful Style in architecture around 1400.
