V Kantově teoretické filosofie má rozdíl mezi oběma světy charakter omezení: svět poznáváme pouze tak, jak je dán, tj. jako smyslový svět, i když si ho můžeme myslet v jeho totalitě (jako inteligibilní svět). V Kantově praktické filosofii si lidský rozum spontánně vytváří ideu morálního světa, tj. inteligibilního světa, jako vzoru pro smyslový svět. Kromě toho Kant ve své Antropologii z pragmatického hlediska dává světu existenciální význam: svět znamená lidi ve vztahu k sobě samým. Kantův přístup k otázce světa je komplexní a jeho poukaz na různé aspekty této problematiky je právě tím, co nás dnes může inspirovat. Překlad anotace The author claims that Kant's contribution to the philosophical question of the world consists in his fresh interpretation of the Platonic distinction of the intelligible world and the sensual world. In Kant's theoretical philosophy this distinction has the character of a limitation: we understand the world only as it is given ( i. e. as the sensual world), in spite of the fact that we can think of it as the totality (i. e. as the intelligible world). In Kant’s practical philosophy human reason spontaneously creates an idea of the moral world, i. e. intelligible world, as a paradigm for the sensual world. Moreover in his Anthrolopology from a Pragmatic Standpoint Kant gives the concept of the world existential meaning: the world means humans in relation to themselves. Kant's approach to the issue of the world is a complex one, and his delineation of its diverse aspects provides inspiration for us today.
