Překlad anotace The lichen Physcia aipolioides has been recorded from a relatively large area since its description in 1947, based on few collections from S Moravia and SW Slovakia. In Slovakia, the Czech Republic as well as in Austria, the lichen shows a similar distribution pattern: a continuous distribution area and few outliers in fairly remote localities. An increase of the number of localities in Czechia and Slovakia, together with the toxitolerance of the lichen, led in the 1980s and 1990s to the assumption that the species spread invasively. The lichen also occurs in Hungary, and the latest records from Bulgaria and Montenegro indicate that its distribution area might be probably even much larger. The ecology and distribution of the species are discussed with respect to factors affecting its potential to spread.
