Nejstarší městská kniha táborská z let 1432–1452 je nejdůležitějším dochovaným písemným svědectvím o bohatém trhu s nemovitostmi v husitském městě Tábor. Jedná se o mimořádně přínosný pramen pro badatele se zájmem o českou, zejména husitskou, historii. Vzhledem k tomu, že kniha je zapsána ve staré češtině, poskytuje cenné informace i pro diachronní jazykovědnou bohemistiku. Publikace kromě kritické edice textu obsahuje rozsáhlou úvodní studii a doprovodný aparát, mj. rozsáhlý osobní, místní a věcný rejstřík a slovníček. Text edice je obsažen rovněž na CD, které je přiloženo k publikaci.

The oldest town book of Tábor, dating to 1432–1452, is the most important preserved written testimony of the prosperous real estate market in the Hussite town of Tábor. It is a historical source of an exceptional import for researchers in Czech, and especially Hussite, history. As it is written in Old Czech, the book provides valuable information also for the diachronic linguistic bohemistics. Besides the critical text edition, the present publication includes an extensive introductory study and supporting body of information and appendices, such as ample personal, territorial and conceptual indices and a glossary. The publication is supplemented with a CD version of the text of the present edition.
