In der Arbeit wird untersucht, welchen Einfluss zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts das Monopol der Jachymover Bergwerke auf geeignetes Ausgangsmaterial zur Vorbereitung von Radiumpraeparaten auf die Entwicklung der experimentellen Untersuchung der Radioaktivitaet hatte.

In the book we investigate the influence of a monopoly, that the mines in Jachymov had in the early 20th century on suitable starting material for producing radium preparations, on the development of experimental research in radiology.
