Vapor pressures and the standard molar enthalpies of vaporization of the linear aliphatic aldehydes C₆, C8-C14 have been determined by the transpiration method. A linear correlation of enthalpies of vaporization at 298.15K of the aldehydes with the number of C atoms has been found.
