Die Studie stellt die für den Laienkelch plädierende Argumentation des Jacobell von Mies in einem systematischen Übersicht vor. Die Quellenbasis bilden 21 veröffentlichte und noch nicht veröffentlichte Traktate aus den Jahren 1414-1418. Der Autor bietet zunächst einen grundlegenden chronologischen Überblick über diese Werke und bewertet den Stand ihrer Veröffentlichung im Rahmen anderer lateinischen und altböhmischen Literatur zum gleichen Thema im gegebenen Zeitraum. Es folgt eine Zusammenfassung historischer Argumention zugunsten des Laienkelchs bei Jacobell und der frühen Utraquisten, die in die Darstellung seiner biblisch und theologisch fundierten Argumenten übergeht. Im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit steht auch die Methode, mit der Jacobell seine Apologie aufbaut. Am Schluss reiht der Autor Jacobells Lehre in die Geschichte des mittelalterlichen eucharistischen Denkens ein.

The study presents a systematic overview of Jakoubek of Stříbro's thought which advocates Hussite eucharistic praxis of the lay chalice. The source basis consists of 21 published and not yet published treatises from the years 1414-1418. The author first provides a basic chronological overview of these works and assesses the status of their publication in the context of other Latin and Old Bohemian literature on the same subject in the given period. Following is a summary of historical argumentation in favor of the lay chalice by Jakoubek (and the early Utraquists) which goes into the presentation of his biblically and theologically substantiated arguments. At the center of attention is also the method with which Jakoubek builds up his apology. At the end, the author integrates Jakoubek's teaching into the history of Medieval Eucharistic thought.
