The study is about respect to a realic of a Virgin Mary´s veil in Bohemia between 1350 and 1420. It is about a reflection of its cult in iconography of the works of art, about criticism from pre-utraquist church reformers. It follows its history, gradual weakening of its cult and reflections in the works of art in the utraquist Bohemia.

Studie pojednává o úctě k relikvii roušky Panny Marie v Čechách v letech 1350-1420, o ohlasu jejího kultu v ikonografii výtvarných děl a o jeho kritice za stran předhusitských církevních reformátorů. Sleduje osudy této relikvie, postupné oslabování jejího kultu a ohlasů ve výtvarném umění v prostředí katolíků a utrakvistů v pohusitských Čechách.
