Kinetics of leukocyte and myeloid cell traffic was studied after transplantation in the experimental model of orthotopic corneal transplantation in mice. Rapid changes in the composition of cell populations in draining lymph nodes were recorded. The major cell populatins infiltrating corneal allografts were macrophages and neutrophils, with fewer dendritic cells and T cells.
