Der Artikel stellt eine hölzerne Figur einer Löwenmadonna vor, die von der Nationalgalerie in Prag erworben wurde. Es handelt sich um ein bedeutendes Werk des Meisters der Madonna aus Michle, das aus einer ungenannten Sammlung in Klosterneuburg bei Wien stammt. The article treats the wooden statue of the Madonna on a Lion, purchased by the National Gallery in Prague. It is an important work by the Master of the Michelská Madonna, from an anonymous collection at the Klosterneuburg near Vienna. The author dates the statue to 1340-1345 and provides a detailed interpretation of its style and iconography, with reference to similar sculptures from the period.

Článek představuje dřevěnou sochu Madony na lvu, kterou zakoupila Národní galerie v Praze. Jde o významné dílo Mistra michelské Madony, pocházející z nejmenované sbírky v Klosterneuburgu u Vídně. Autor textu ho datuje do let 1340-1345 a detailně interpretuje jeho stylový i ikonografický charakter vzhledem k dalším příbuzným plastikám té doby.
