Kapitola 6 s názvem Etika (vědo)techniky v českém myšlení 20. století je rozčleněna do tří subkapitol – první se zabývá technikou a technokracií v meziválečném českém myšlení, druhá etikou (vědo)techniky v Československu po druhé světové válce do r. 1989 a třetí evropským rozměrem etického diskurzu ve vědě a technice. Ukazuje se, že implementace etiky do vědy a techniky představuje důležitou analytickou, explorativní a osvětovou činnost. Přivádí do procesu hodnocení vědy a techniky nové aktéry, což znamená nové možnosti kooperace.

Chapter 6 "Ethics in the technoscientific thinking of the Czech society in the course of the 20th century" is divided into three subchapters - the first dealing with technology and technocracy in the Czech interwar thinking, the second with ethics of technoscience in Czechoslovakia after World War II until 1989, and the third reflects the European dimension of the ethical discourse in science and technology. It turns out that implementation of ethics into science and technology represents an important analytical, explorative and educational activity. It brings new actors into the process of science & technology evaluation, which constitutes new opportunities for cooperation.
