Der Beitrag befasst sich mit Mehrdeutigkeit des Drehknotens als Zeichen des höfischen Ordens des Königs Wenzel IV. und des Drachen des Ordens Sigismunds von Luxemburg. Der Drehknoten wurde als "torgues" (Jesus Sirach VI, 24 - 31) bestimmt, also ein Band des Gehorsams gegenüber Gottes Gesetz, dessen Annahme wird Stolz des Herrschers und bietet Weisheit und Erlösung.

The study is centered around multiple meanings of the knotted veil as a symbol of the order of the court of King Wenceslaus IV and around the dragon of the order of Sigismund of Luxembourg. The knotted veil is identified as a torques (Jesus Sirach VI, 24- 31), i.e. bond of submission to the Law of God, by its acceptance it becomes an adornment of the king, it ensures wisdom and brings salvation.
