In the title compound, C17H19NO3, the molecule has an E configuration with respect to the C=N bond and the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 56.07 (5)°. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of C—H...O hydrogen bonds occur. The dimers are linked by weak C—H...pi interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.
