L´étude se préoccupe de la présentation de obésité et maigreur dans le dessin humoristique tcheque du journal Dikobraz dans les annees 1953-1967. Les dessins politiquement motivés ont souvent illustrés les deux figures expressivement éteint invocait un effet comique. C´etait la figure du personnage réel, Konrad Adenauer, chancelier de droite d´Allemagne de l´Ouest, et la figure émaciée du « Oncle Sam », le symbole traditionnel de L´États Unis. Adenauer était l´un des plus portraiturés personnalités dans les années50 et au debut des années60. Les caricatures ont souvent présentés d´autre hommes politiques de l´Ouest aussi et la obésité ou la maigreur faisait part importante de leurs caracteristique. La deuxieme partie de l´étude traite par le grossissement de la population. Le journal Dikobraz a publié beaucoup de plaisanterie diffusant l´exercices physiques et critiquant la obésité.

This article is aimed at showing obesity and thinness by Czech cartoons in magazine called Dikobraz, 1953 – 1967. Politically motivated cartoons largely brought two markedly thin figures where the body significantly enhanced the comic effect. One figure of a real person –, the long-standing, right-wing oriented chancellor of the West Germany and the other – skinny Uncle Sam, the traditional symbol of the USA. Adenauer was one of the most frequently pictured of the 1950s and first half of the 1960s. Cartoons often pictured also other Western politicians, their real appearance did play a role, however – quite importantly – obesity and thinness became part and parcel of their representation. The second part of the article is also dedicated view of rising obesity of the population. Dikobraz published a series of jokes promoting regular exercising and criticizing obesity in the 1960s.
