Der Beitrag kommt mit der Frage, wie genau die Räumlichkeiten ausgesehen hatten, wo die Musiker in der Zeit Rudolfs II. wirkten - sowohl in den sakralen Objekten, wie auch in der Profanbauten. Es geht um die wichtige Bestandteile der Architektur, wobei manche sind überhaupt nicht erhalten oder in der modifizierten Gestalt, so z. B. Musikempore im Veitsdom, Musikbalkon im Hauptsaal des Lustschlosses der Königin Anna, oder sg. Trompetenpavillon im südlichen Schlossgarten.

The conference paper deals with the question of the original appearance of the "stage", where the musicians of the emperor Rudolf II played - in sacral buildings - musical choirs, and profan ones - balconies, platforms etc. Many of these important parts of architecture disappeared or were partly modified , e. g. organ-loft in St.Vitus cathedral, the music balcony in the main hall of the Summerpalace of the queen Anne, the so-called Trumpet pavillion in castle south garden.
