Der Aufsatz analysiert, anhand des neu entdeckten Dokumentes aus Wolfenbüttel, musikalisch-dramatische Vorstellung, die vor dem Beginn der Fastenzeit 1617 in der Prager Burg gehalten wurde. Der Text bringt einige neue tatsachen, sowohl über die konktere Personen, die damals nahmen teil, als auch über dem Verlauf der Festlichkeiten am zweiten und dritten Tag. Die Autoren des Artikels versuchten, die Vorstellung in den breiteren europäischen Kontext einzureihen.

The article deals with a newly discovered document from Wolfenbüttel, describing the festivity, which was played at Prague Castle in February 1617, opening a three days long carnival. The text brings several new pieces of information; of special interest is the identification of some personalities, who took place at the performance. Included are also descriptions of two further days of the carnival. Authors tried to bring the Prague performance into the broader European context.
