Der entscheidende Faktor dabei war das Engagement des barbarischen Adels in der römischen Armee, zu erstder weströmischen und nach dem Zerfall des hunnischen Reichesder oströmischen. Překlad anotace A major study, following on the basis of graves of Barbarian social elites, above all graves with arms, the development of power-political relations in the region of middle Danube reaches at the decline of Antique. It coversthe period from the mid-4th to the latter half of the 5thcenturies, i.e.the time of gradually collapsing militarystructures of antique Rome and it also attends to the development of Barbarian nobility as a consequence of theirmore and more intense moving into the framework of theRoman army. The second part is devoted to the development of Barbarian nobility in the years of formation ofthe so-called Hunnic Empire, and particularly in the period after its fall, when the crystallisation of new Barbarian kingdoms occurs, together with early medieval nations (gentes).
